JOB TITLE: COMMUNITY SUPPORT OFFICER

Hours: Full-Time (7.00am–2.00pm and 5.00pm–10.00pm)
Shift Pattern: A mixture of mornings and evenings, including every other weekend
Salary: £14.00-£14.75 per hour, 25 pence per mile
Locations: Dursley
We are currently recruiting for full-time Care Assistant to join our existing teams in Dursley and Surrounding areas

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• full driving license and access to own vehicle is desirable for this position.
• Good communication skills, both verbally and written
• Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Genuine passion for helping others and wanting to make a positive difference.
• Respect people’s right to privacy
• Have a zero tolerance of all forms of abuse
• Flexible approach to your working hours as Saturday and Sunday working is required

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Supporting Individuals in their own homes to regain their Independence following a hospital stay.
• This will include personal care, assisting clients with washing and dressing
• Medication support
• Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
• Shopping
• Housekeeping
• Meal Preparation
• Taking candidates for appointments or outings
