Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Right at Home care team in Cork. Right at Home is an established Irish and international home care company with a first class reputation world-wide.
As a Care Coordinator / Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the schedules of our care staff to meet the needs of our clients.
The successful candidate must possess strong organisation skills, be a team player and have a passion for making a difference and delivering quality care to vulnerable adults.
Monday to Friday, Full-time, permanent.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a scheduling or coordination role, preferably in the healthcare or home care sector
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage care schedules for clients and carers.
  • Coordinate with carers to ensure all shifts are covered.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding scheduling and care needs.
  • Handle new client enquiries and HSE referrals.
  • Support the promotion and growth of Right at Home in line with key business targets
  • Complete office administration tasks and compile weekly reports (Word, Excel)
  • Assist with new carer recruitment.
  • Ensure consistent application of companies policies, procedures and approved practice and to promote the aims of Right at Home.
