Description:
OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will contribute to our existing governance and quality auditing processes that enables Saffronland Homes to measure and continuously improve the quality of our 8 Homes. As a Quality Assurance Manager you will work as part of the wider team advising on governance, methodology, and risk management to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
Our Quality Assurance Manager will work closely with Central Operational colleagues and Registered Home Managers to embed the principles of governance and quality standards, aimed at creating an environment in which excellence in our Homes will flourish.
You will provide support to all our Homes and be willing to travel for work when needed.
SKILLS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulatory compliance and their application in a production environment.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or auditing within a care home setting
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficient in using quality management software and tools for data analysis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with the Senior Management Team (SMT), the Area Manager and Registered Home Managers to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Provide Home level support to front line managers to embed good practice, systems and compliance.
- Develop and implement communication strategies across all homes to ensure good awareness of regulatory requirements.
- Provide advice and support to Home Managers to ensure they are effectively inducted into their role in preparation for CQC registration.
- Support Registered Home Managers in the completion of Provider Information Returns and Local Authority contract monitoring.
- Undertake regular Home audits to provide objective reviews of service delivery.
Undertake incident and accident analysis to identify trend and themes to support safety through learning.
Support the Area Manger in the delivery of focused internal audits.
- Effectively report audit findings and recommendations for improvement to the SMT.
- To develop and support systems to understand performance within care and support
- To support staff to utilise the systems so they can understand how they are performing.
- Signpost Homes to guidance and advice on policies and CQC standards
- Ensure the most up to date policy and associated documents are accessible and used appropriately in practice
- Promote and share best practice across the Homes
