Description:
Job Role: Care Team Leader
Hours: Full Time - 37.5hrs
Shift Patterns: Typically Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (with occasional weekend shifts required)
Pay Rate: £14.83 per hour
Location: St. Joseph’s, Blundell Avenue, Freshfield, Formby, Liverpool, L37 1PH

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker/Care Team leader ready to take on a leadership role at St. Joseph’s. If you have a passion for providing high-quality care and leading a team to deliver the best outcomes for residents, this is the role for you.

What We’re Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
- A compassionate, caring nature and a genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
- At least 2 years’ experience in a care setting, with 1 years’ experience within a supervisory role.
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience in administering medication in line with policies and care plans
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulations
- Eligibility to work in the UK (please note, we cannot offer sponsorship or work visas)
About the Role:
As Care Team Leader, you will be leading a dedicated team in our Pine Lodge area, supporting 12 residents with learning disabilities and complex health needs. Your role will include:
- Leading a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to deliver exceptional care that prioritises the safety, dignity, and personal needs of our residents
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support while maintaining the highest standards of care
- Conducting regular supervisions and appraisals to help your team develop professionally
- Administering medication and ensuring care is delivered in line with care plans and policies
- Ensuring clear, accurate records are kept and care is continuously monitored and reviewed
- Building strong relationships with families, health professionals, and the wider community to enhance residents’ well-being
