CAREGIVER/SUPPORT STAFF REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience as caregiver or support staff is a plus.
- Incorporating Harm Reduction, Informed Trauma Training and De-escalation techniques.
- Prior involvement in caregiving or support roles, ideally within environments such as homeless shelters or comparable settings.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication abilities, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the underserved population.
- Capacity to effectively collaborate within a team dynamic and navigate challenging scenarios with sensitivity and tact.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure residents’ safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and assist with medication management under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including resident rooms, common areas, and dining areas.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring and supportive atmosphere
