About Ryman Retirement Villages
Ryman Healthcare is seeking four full time Caregivers to join our friendly team at Charles Fleming Retirement Village in Waikanae.
You must have a level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate (or equivalent) or above. Naturally, you will have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our village a wonderful place to live and work. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week and the wage will be $30.40 per hour.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing care and personal needs assistance as detailed in the care plan and under the direction of a Registered Nurse
- Observing and reporting immediately to the Registered Nurse or senior any change in a resident’s status or behaviour
- Ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of residents at all times
- Demonstrating care for others by understanding their needs and providing help and support
- Documenting care provided to residents objectively and in a timely manner
We provide a full orientation with ongoing training and support towards professional development and aged care qualifications.
Flexibility and reliability are the key attributes that will secure you a role. A variety of shifts are required to be worked each week including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
