SALARY: $41,998.00 - $54,631.00

Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Senior Communities is currently seeking a Caring Home Services Supervisor, who will oversee program operations, financial health, and daily service delivery in affordable apartment settings to support aging in place. The work schedule is Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
Catholic Charities Senior Communities develops and operates affordable, supportive communities for older adults with a resolve to nurture a spirit of purpose, wellness, and harmony among both our residents and colleagues. We offer 24 locations in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Garrett County and Harford Counties and Baltimore City.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Four years of experience in Human Services, with a focus on supervisory or management responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrate effective leadership and build positive relationships with staff.
  • Ability to handle all situations with discretion, tact, and professionalism.
  • Resolve customer and client concerns and grievances effectively.
  • Exhibit strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of fundamental billing, finance processes, regulations, and procedures.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others to achieve organizational goals.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and delegate responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to utilize computer systems and software necessary to perform position functions. Basic Windows PC, web browsing (i.e., Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.), and Microsoft Outlook skills required. Other Microsoft Office application knowledge, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive desired.

  • Moderate work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing applicants, developing personalized service plans, and serving as a primary contact for participants, families, and advocate.
  • Supervises and evaluates the Resident Associates and builds relationships between employees and residents to ensure that individual resident preferences and choices are respected.
  • Provides daily oversight of service delivery including daily meals, weekly services, and the completion of semi-annual service plans, participant assessments and selection.
  • Attains and maintains program census through internal and external advertisement and new move-ins through the community wait list.
  • Works cooperatively with local and state government agencies to assure compliance with the standards and guidelines governing the program, including the local health department standards related to food services.
  • Complies with data requirements and maintains participant files as instructed.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, overseeing the collection and processing of monthly participant fees, managing other program expenses, and handling invoicing for participants or their representatives.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and addressing program problems/concerns.
  • Responsible for managing and directing work of others, including recruiting new hires, onboarding new staff, and conducting performance reviews for 1 – 4 employees. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
