Salary £36,750 per annum, to include company van, fuel card, PPE, uniform.
We are the largest provider of repairs and maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.
About the Role:
As a Joiner you will be working in our social housing sector, providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.

Day to day duties:

  • Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs in occupied properties
  • Undertaking 1st and 2nd fix Carpentry
  • Responsible for duties to include but not limited to – hanging doors, skirting, architraves, fixing windows / doors, lock changes, repairing worktops, kitchen units etc
  • Providing high levels of customer care at all times

Role Criteria

  • NVQ 2 in Carpentry
  • Experience in Carpentry
  • Good customer Service Skills
  • Good Written and Verbal
  • UK full driving license
