Mission Group is seeking a Carpenter to join one of our high-rise construction projects in Kelowna, BC. The Carpenter will perform all duties related to carpentry on-site as directed by the Site Superintendent. The ideal candidate has a high attention to detail, experience working on residential high-rise projects and shares our commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Follow construction plans and schedules
- Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing / mech / electrical drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
- Attend and participate in toolbox and safety committee meetings
- Assist site teams with carpentry projects and organizing and using tools such as nail guns, saws, etc.
- Maintain a professional calm, willing, and positive relationship with coworkers and subtrades
- Work with subtrades for back framing
- Others duties and tasked as assigned by the Site Superintendent
