Case Manager CRS/Immigration & Refugee Services- Preferred Communities
The Case Manager is responsible for identify gaps in services available to vulnerable Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) eligible clients who did not benefit form Reception and Placement ( R&P) services; by providing intake , assessment, and referrals services through a 90-day service period; ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the highest quality transitional and support services for clients. Services to clients are intended to aid them in improving their social, economic, cultural or educational status. Responsibilities include providing intake functions, coordination of program activities, development and implementation of specialized programing such as job placement and retention, family budgeting, enforcement of policies and guidelines set by the program; facilitate communication between caseworkers and Program Director to ensure the provision of quality services.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science or other human services discipline, or another service field with relevant coursework.
- Experience in social work settings may be substituted.
- The Case Manager preferably shall have a minimum of two years of experience; computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in case management and budgeting is essential.
- Working knowledge of area resources for client assistance is required.
- The Case Manager must be background screened and receive clearance by the Diocese of Orlando and receive MVR clearance by the diocesan insurance underwriters indicating a clean driving record.
