Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
We have an opportunity available for an experienced Workers Compensation professional to join us as a Specialist Case Manager within our Treasury Managed Funds Business, managing long term and complex workers compensation claims for Workers with Highest Needs (WWHN) and CAT claims. These cases will support individuals who have the most severe and complex needs within the context of workers’ compensation. As a Specialty Case Manager your role will include
- Case management activities including assessments, planning, treatment coordination and return to work support.
- Communicating with a variety of stakeholders including workers, employers, health professionals, legal professionals and colleagues to ensure collaboration and effective support.
- Advocacy and Mental Health support for the injured workers, ensuring that they are represented correctly, supported and are receiving the appropriate benefits and compensation.
- Ensuring that all relevant documentation, reporting, and administration is completed accurately and within the given timeframes.
- Complex injury management planning that is of high quality and tailored to the circumstances of the claim, considerate of the complexity of goals for this cohort of claims.
