Case Manager, Personal Injury

The opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated High Complexity Case Manager to join our Brisbane CTP Insurance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing complex CTP insurance claims, working closely with injured parties, healthcare professionals, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Your new role
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, using a collaborative approach to obtain information and to seek technical expertise from peers to manage claims effectively
- Manage the end-to-end claims management process, by identifying the need for clinical information to develop effective case management plans and strategies guided by legislative and compliance timeframes
- Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards
- Ensure accurate claims data is entered in accordance with the required quality assurance standards and reporting to ensure accurate payments and wages are processed, claims are reported on correctly, and service standards are met
- Prepare documents, files and records for legal matters including for trial and subrogation, and submit administrative reports as required
- Ensure current knowledge and adherence and compliance with the relevant legislation, regulations, standards and guidelines
- Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets
- Participate in all relevant meetings to share and develop strategy, knowledge and best practice
About you
- 1-2 years experience within a case management role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Knowledge and/or experience in the Personal Injury or insurance industry is desirable
- Empathetic and resilient in nature with a keen interest in supporting stakeholders through challenging and sensitive situations
- Knowledge of the ClaimCentre system is desirable but not essential
- Stakeholder management & negotiation skills as well as knowledge around problem resolution
- A keen willingness to learn, excellent communication/organisation skills and a proactive and positive attitude
