The opportunity
We’re looking for a dedicated Case Manager to join our Self Insurance Claims team! This is your chance to make a real difference by providing exceptional service at every touchpoint and positively impacting the experience of our customers. Your new role
The role of a Case Manager will see you return people to health and work with empathy and expertise. You will assist our customers on their return-to-work journey by acting as the key point of contact for stakeholders, including injured workers, their employers, doctors, and other medical professionals. You will be empowered to manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the process.

Key activities as a Case Manager include:

  • Effectively set expectations, communicate and educate injured workers and employers
  • Work in partnership with the injured worker and their employer to manage their journey in returning to work
  • Ensure timeframes and compliance measures are adhered to in line with legislation and company policy
  • Document and apply decision making principles
  • Meet and work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best practice outcomes

We have a comprehensive training program and ongoing coaching for those with experience, and those new to the Workers Compensation industry, to ensure that we provide you the necessary resources for ongoing success.
About you
You genuinely care about the work you do, delivering an informed, customer centric service with awareness and expertise. You remain focused in a fast-paced environment, have exemplary communication skills and can demonstrate resilience in challenging situations. You understand that you play an essential role in the delivery of a critical service that will have a significant impact on the lives of our customers at a difficult time.

You will also have:

  • Experience within NSW Claims management is required, exposure to SA Claims management is beneficial
  • Professional experience in a fast paced, customer centric environment
  • A high degree of influencing skills, partnered with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • A flexible attitude and a service-orientated approach
  • A keen willingness to learn with a proactive and positive attitude
