Description:
ARE YOU THE NEXT REFUGEE CASH ASSISTANCE CASE MANAGER?
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and one-year experience in social services, or a combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Bilingual skills in a common client language are preferred
- Must have reliable transportation, a current Texas driver’s license, and evidence of auto liability insurance
- Must be willing to transport clients in your car

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?
- Screen clients for eligibility into RCA Program and provide application assistance.
- Conduct comprehensive client intakes.
- Monitor and evaluate client’s eligible for monthly benefit.
- Work with other program staffs to issue payments for allowance and document all transactions.
- Complete referrals to Employment Services and English Class and monitor compliance with those programs.
- Empower clients towards economic self-sufficiency through an understanding of client’s responsibility for seeking employment and learning English.
- Document all client interactions and services in case notes as required.
- Complete all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with funder requirements and agency quality assurance standards.
- Ensure clients are enrolled in the program within 10 business days of referral and receive the first payment within 10 business days of enrollment.
- Ensure to meet your service delivery tasks and effectively manage your administrative duties.
- Work collaboratively with other Refugee Services members to support the overall goals of the team and coordinate services for clients as necessary.
