REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education
  • 18+ years of age
  • Steady work history
  • Experience with claims and making professional outbound calls is a must
  • Have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
  • Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Have prior clerical / customer service work experience
  • Great Typing Skills: 40+ adjusted wpm

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $20-$22 hour.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will use your detail-oriented nature and exceptional communication skills in order to provide quality service while investigating claims.

As a Claims Case Research Services Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Meeting production standards on a daily and monthly basis. Standards are based on determining if recovery potential exists.
  • Initiating telephone contact and written correspondence with insurance claims adjusters, personal injury attorneys, patients and other parties to the claim.
  • Examining and investigating cases based on accident details, and policy language to establish if recovery potential exists.
  • Utilizing the Internet and other resources to fully investigate potential recovery cases.
  • Talking on the phone 90% of your workday- outbound calls and answering calls returned to you about the claims you are working.
  • Detailed, clear and concise case notes and providing exceptional customer service.
