What will you be doing in your role?

  • Empower Clients to set and meet stability, career and education Goals
  • Be proactive in your identification of barriers to client success.
  • Provide a holistic service planning and establish a strong communication with other Specialists in the agency.
  • Remain informed about community resources, maintain current knowledge of practices and issues around poverty and family self-sufficiency and share with your team.
  • Help your team apply a problem-solving framework that promotes steady client progress.
  • Support the data and evaluative needs of Padua by ensuring proper documentation and data input is completed.
  • Incorporate the use of all available resources, drawing on Padua internal and external partnerships to help clients progress with a holistic service plan.
  • Share resources from Specialists to Clients in order to support a client reach their goals.
  • Work directly with clients on a triad with two case managers.
  • Participate in staff training and development.
  • Facilitate client connection to necessary resources by providing transportation if necessary.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to occasionally meet with clients after normal business hours.
  • Monitor program due dates to ensure your client/team meets all required targets.
  • Regularly meet with your case manager to discuss progress towards client goals and ensure that a clear path is available to achieve them.
  • Assist clients connect with valuable resources by advocating with community partners and by providing transportation as needed.
  • Incorporate use of all available resources, drawing on Padua internal partnerships to help clients progress with a holistic service plan.

Are you the next Padua Case Worker?

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, preferred
  • Work experience with low-income populations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, community resources is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, required.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to transport clients as needed.
