Cash Application Specialist

We are seeking a Cash Application Specialist to join our team in the legal industry based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling cash applications, managing customer accounts, and resolving customer inquiries using various accounting software systems and ERP.

• Accurately process customer credit applications using Accounting Software Systems and CRM.
• Handle cash activity and billing functions efficiently.
• Utilize Crystal Reports and Great Plains (GPAC) to maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for managing Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action using Automated Clearing House (ACH).
• Resolve customer inquiries related to cash applications.
• Maintain efficient communication with customers regarding their credit applications and accounts.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cash application processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure streamlined operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding cash applications and customer account management.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
• Experience with Crystal Reports
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)
• Competence in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
• Ability to handle Cash Activity
• Proficiency in Cash Applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
