JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Operations Director, you will lead Cash Asset Management Operations in Manila, Bangalore and Mumbai providing End- to-End Cash Management that enables treasury to effectively manage the firm’s balance sheet. The global team delivers operational and strategic support to Treasury including cash position projections, predictions, Central Bank Cash management and post cash movement analysis on managed accounts. Automation and enhancement of the cash movement processes and remediation of the existing cash Nostro landscape, to improve account data quality, strengthen controls and address lost revenues, increased costs, and operational inefficiencies.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in Cash Management, Treasury, Finance or Accounting
  • Experience of Business Intelligence capability such as Tableau/Alteryx/Qlikview etc.
  • Able to work comfortably and confidently under pressure and deadlines
  • Data Management – able to effectively apply best practices in data management without compromising speed and quality
  • Data Analysis – skills to source, analyse and visualize large data sets that leads to usable outcomes
  • Project Management - execution focused and risk aware, a problem solver who can articulate clear and workable solutions
  • Builds/promotes a client/customer centered organization
  • Experience of Industrialization of new processes

The Cash Asset Operational Lead will work with the Cash Asset Management Leadership Team and Service Owners, to achieve all associated organizational and workforce aligned objectives. in support of our key values, ensuring the right cash, is in the right place, at the right time, with maximum transparency.

  • Lead and manage the Operations Teams in offshore locations to meet expectations of all CAM service beneficiaries, in particular for client experience, risk and controls, resiliency, process improvements and standardization of service offering.
  • Identify, monitor and manage through metrics that matter
  • Provide accurate , appropriate and timely progress reporting, highlighting risks and issues
  • Allocation and prioritization of resources to ensure all services are equipped to meet the standards expected from our internal clients
  • To set a diverse, inclusive, positive and sustainable culture
  • Ensuring that individuals understand their role and how their objectives relate to Cash Asset Management Strategy
  • Identify, assess, manage and report the performance of operational individuals and meet all financial objectives
  • Visualization of data to drive decision making, prioritization and continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships with key partners (Settlement Operations, Finance Controllers, Product Controllers, Cash Asset Class Controllers)
  • Participate in location initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes and working practice
  • Involvement and ownership of key global strategic initiative
