Description:

Job Description
As a Cash Office Responsible you work at the heart of a fast- paced fashion business, you are responsible for the cash office and shop floor administration. You train, inform, and support the store team to ensure they are knowledgeable and competent in store stock, cash, banking and administration procedures. Meeting the expectations of customers and colleagues at all times, as well as following H&M procedures and standards, are a given for you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete all cash handling, accounting, and personnel requirements in a secure, accurate and timely manner.
  • Complete the required reports and data entry and communicate with the relevant people in the business (e.g., Accounting, Payroll department, IT, Controlling, Security)
  • Ensure that all technical equipment (tills, scanners, back office equipment) are in working order and any faults are reported and followed up
  • Along with the management team keep a tidy and organised back of house, following safety and security requirements.
  • Help all staff to be knowledgeable in the cash point procedures and best practices to provide the best customer service and prevent administration or cash losses.

  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Friendly, social and helpful approach to customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks based on the needs of our fast-paced business.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and improve.
  • Prior experience in a routine/cash office position is desired but not essential.
