QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma with a basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Office Suite
- Capacity to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other Firm members and provide outstanding client service.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingualism in French and English is considered and asset
The starting range for this role is $45,000 to $48,000. Starting salary will be determined based on an applicant’s individual skills, competencies and unique qualifications. Gowling WLG employees have the potential to exceed this range based on tenure and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing the remittance inbox on a daily basis to ensure all remittances are matched against incoming payments in a timely manner
- Handling all client vendor/onboarding forms, including supplying requested tax forms as appropriate
- Confirming bank details for clients to ensure smooth payment processing
- Preparing client payment reports as requested
- Monitoring incoming client emails and directing to the appropriate team for handling
- Reviewing the internal cash receipts inbox and handling requests as appropriate
- Providing direct assistance to the Cash Receipts Supervisor and the team as needed
