We are looking for individuals with Investment Management Operations and Investment accounting experience who are passionate about working in an energized environment.
Cash Services is a service offered to SSGD clients, monitors client accounts for issues associated with cash, settlements, ad-hoc processing, reporting and pre/post cycle reviews. The team is also responsible to produce results of daily accounts review and are expected to work with little to no oversight.

What you will be responsible for:
The candidate will be expected to be an active member of the EMEA Cash Services team that monitors client accounts for issues associated with cash, settlements, ad-hoc processing, reporting and pre/post cycle reviews. The team is also responsible to produce results of daily accounts review and are expected to work with little to no oversight, ensure client queries are answered and resolved.
The candidate is also expected to provide analytical support in any new client on-boarding lifecycle as it pertains to our BAU operating model. The candidate will have the opportunity to ensure that all aspects of the Team`s activities are considered as part of the onboarding process and participate in BUAT / CUAT / Parallel testing and all other specific tasks that need to be completed ahead of a client conversion.

In this role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Using provided tools, review assigned accounts for issues associated with cash (Overdrafts, reconciliation), positions (trades, other),
  • For assigned accounts process month end close functions (validate and sign-off on balances, review for non-base balances)
  • Identify data or accounts trends for discussion in group meetings.
  • Interact with all GD teams (Accounting, Corporate Actions, Trading, Performance)
  • Remain familiar with back-up procedures when system applications and/or transmission problems arise.
  • Build cooperative and professional internal/external relationships achieving group and client goals. Utilize all available resources throughout STT, not limited to GD.
  • Be prepared for all meetings
  • Take ownership of issues to resolution, engage teams as needed to gain consensus.
  • Take ownership of the timely investigation and resolution of exceptions
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve exceptions in a timely manner
  • Provide client with daily summary and monthly MIS reports
  • Participate in local / global projects and initiatives
  • Coordinate with internal departments to meet client needs
  • Have the ability to represent State Street in front of a client
  • Communicate effectively on issues / problems to the Client and to STT management and ensure a proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolution
  • Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role
  • Ensure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in your behaviour
  • Provide appropriate management information as required to support business unit decision making
  • Support the ‘Risk Excellence’ culture within the business
  • Adhere to limits of delegation and escalation procedures required by your manager so that you comply with internal policies and external regulations

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • 3+ years of Investment Management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting platforms
  • Motivated and team oriented individual who possesses the ability to work in an energizing environment while handling multiple tasks
  • Capable of adapting and leading through change
  • Charles River (CRD) experience highly desirable but not required

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Investment management experience
  • Relevant degree in Economics or similar field

Additional requirements:
Sequel coding knowledge is a plus
