Responsibilities:
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Transaction Handling: Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately, issuing receipts, refunds, and change as needed.
- Customer Service: Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff, resolving payment-related inquiries and issues promptly.
- Register Management: Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, maintaining a clean and organized register area.
- Administrative Support: Perform clerical duties such as filing and data entry, and support financial transactions for other departments.
- Compliance and Security: Adhere to hospital policies for cash handling, ensuring the confidentiality and security of all information.
- Inventory and Supplies: Monitor and manage cash handling supplies, reordering and restocking as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure smooth operations and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with special projects, events, and additional tasks as needed to support the overall operations and goals of the hospital café and broader hospital community.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING HELPING WITH DISHWASHING:
- Previous Dishwasher experience is preferred but we will train you to do the job
- Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
- Washing and putting away dishes. Following all sanitation standards.
- Follow café guidelines concerning guest services, food, and physical safety, maintenance, and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all times.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
