Description:

Pride Hyundai of Lynn is seeking a Cashier to work mornings and afternoons, Monday - Friday. The hours are 7:30 am-2:30pm, If you enjoy working with the public and have an aptitude for numbers, please apply to this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Computes customer bills.
  • Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
  • Makes change and issues receipts to customers.
  • Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise. All returns/refunds MUST go through a manager.
  • Reconciles cash drawer daily.
  • Closes all open invoices.
  • Include RO #’s when running credit cards
  • Works with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered, their features and value and any changes in price.
  • Answers customer questions about service performed or products purchased, or refers them to someone who can.
  • Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
  • Reconciles gas purchase statements.
  • Provides clerical and administrative assistance to departments as needed.
  • Assists service and parts departments with telephone coverage.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.

Qualifications

  • Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
  • Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and a dynamic work environment
  • Strong mathematical skills and general knowledge of accounting
  • Strong computer skills
