MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• One (1) year of customer service experience

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Casino Host is an entry-level position that is the first point of contact for customer services. The Casino Host will use appropriate judgment to execute casino customer request.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports MGM Rewards Desk, Front Desk, VIP Host Desk, Host phone line and other various departments
• Evaluate customers’ casino activity to provide corresponding incentives and may have authorization to approve minimum number of comps and allowances (i.e., room, food, beverage, and/or event tickets
• Responsible for maintaining relationships with premium level customers through telemarketing and event marketing with a special focus on cultivating relationships with high end slot customers through new and inactive leads along with booking MGM Air flight guests
• Assist in maintaining and developing property’s customer base through meeting and interacting with customers
• Process customers’ reservations by using OPERA & PATRON management systems
• Resolve customer disputes and complaints to the satisfaction of the customer and the company
