Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Cass Assurance, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Understanding of CASS rules and application/treatment in relation to CASS 1, 3, 7, 9 & 10 rule sets.
  • Working knowledge or an understanding of CASS rules and application and impact of Banking Exemption.
  • Understanding of Settlement & Corp Action events in relation to MiFID II eligible products and impact on treatment as Client Money events.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
  • A proven track record of delivering successfully to demanding deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual who can work as part of a team or on individually on tasks with minimal direction.

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Cass Assurance professional to join our CIB operations team and play a crucial role in providing operational and customer support for institutional trades. Responsibilities include assisting with client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, securities settlement services, and more. If you are a proactive individual who excels at collaborating with peers and resolving issues effectively, this role is for you. In this role, you will:

  • Provide operational and customer support for lifecycle tasks for institutional trades.
  • Assist with client account onboarding, input and monitoring of cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, asset servicing structured loan operations, general ledger reconciliation and work to resolve confirmation and ISDA related issues.
  • Assist in gathering data to support resolution of issues.
  • Receive direction from manager and exercise judgment within defined parameters of the area while developing understanding of various functions, policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
