This is a fantastic opportunity to join Sodexo Live! at St. James’ Park, Newcastle United Football Club. Season 2023/24 is going to be the biggest yet, with NUFC taking on the Champions League.
With the opportunity to work at both Matchday and Non-Matchday Events, this is a great opportunity for driven individuals to succeed in a fast and innovative catering facility.

Main Responsibilities

  • Always adhere to company cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with bar setup prior to guests’ arrival, with all necessary mis en place in place.
  • To complete any task assigned by a supervisor efficiently, working proactively at all times.
  • Remain attentive to guests needs, working in a timely manner to minimise any wait times.
  • Ensuring all drinks prepared are in line with service guidelines.
  • Extensive knowledge of products stocked, and any promotions offered.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment, with any defective equipment reported.
  • Report any guest complaints or queries to a supervisor.
  • To accurately monitor any wastage, ensuring this is recorded through the till system.
  • Complete adherence to all licensing legislation, including that which is company specific.
  • Ensuring correct hygiene handling (processing) of food items is maintained.
  • Align with the companies Equality & Diversity policies.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety, Food Safety & Food Allergens policies.
  • Be flexible & adaptable to changes, working in different areas as necessary due to business demands or in line with any reasonable request.
