Directorate: Adult Care, Housing & Public Health
Casual, variable hours, working as and when required.
We are looking for experienced, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic day/afternoon staff to join our team, to provide care and support to individuals living with dementia and customers on the intermediate care units you will be required to follow individual care plans, and risk assessments.
You will contribute towards the monitoring and assessment of service users plans, reviews and assessment of risks ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures in line with Care Quality Commission Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.
You will work with the team to provide sensitive care and guidance to service users in areas of personal care, daily living, health, social integration, and emotional support.
Good communication skills are essential, and you will need to have the ability to use your own initiative within the team. You will need to have the ability to write in individual care plans within the service setting.
You will be required to work on a rota system over a 7-day week which includes, weekends and bank holidays.
