Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities
- Operate the dishwasher machine. Put all crockery, cutlery, trays and other kitchen items through the dishwasher and put all clean items away.
- Thoroughly clean the machine at the end of each shift.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Kitchen by sweeping and mopping the floors, wiping counters etc.
- Empty waste bins and rubbish and move to collection point.
- Ensure buffet and stock levels of all food and beverage items for a la carte service are properly maintained and replenished regularly as required and in accordance with food and safety standards. Control and monitor hygiene standards as per HACCAP.
- Ensure that all products stored or displayed are date coded, stock rotated and labelled correctly using the shelf life rule
