Gerard Redmond Community Catholic School (Grade 5-12) for school year 2024-2025. Rate of pay $18.90/hour (hourly rate plus 4% vacation pay) as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment. Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications: Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices Experience working with students with diverse needs Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training Mental Health First Aid or equivalent Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate is an asset Required Documents: Current Resume Reference Letters Criminal/Vulnerable Sector Check (dated within six months) Intervention Record Check (dated within six months) All schools in Evergreen Catholic recognize the critical role that teachers serve in the mission of the Catholic Church.
