Description:

  • Status - This is a casual role with no guaranteed hours or days. In this role you will be covering sick (oncall) and annual leave.
  • Shifts - The service operates Monday to Sunday - Morning 6:45am - 3:15pm, Afternoon 2:30pm - 11pm and Nights 11pm - 7am
  • Salary - Starting from $60,100 to $70,358 per annum. Based on the NZNO Nursing and Midwifery collective agreement

  • Punctuality, reliability and excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

MŌ TE TŪNGA - ABOUT THE ROLE

Oxford Community Hospital is a 14 bed hospital offering continuing care of the elderly, medical, palliative care and respite care for the local community.
We are after a proactive, confident and energetic Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a rural setting. You will contribute to the friendly, cohesive team by providing expert care to the patients.
You will be responsible for assisting nursing staff with patient care - their personal cares and activities. Ensuring the ward environment is tidy, safe and hazard free.
Please note the successful candidate must be able to work all shifts.
