CASUAL INVIGILATOR AT JOYCE FRANKLAND ACADEMY
£11.44 per hour
Anglian Learning are looking to expand our team of Exam Invigilators who assist with both internal and external examinations throughout the academic year. We are looking for confident, flexible individuals with effective verbal and written communication skills, who will be able to offer a reassuring presence to students in exam rooms.
Duties include setting up the examination room, distributing and collecting scripts, supervising students during examinations, whilst working in accordance with set procedures at all times.
Full training will be provided. No experience is necessary, however invigilators should:
- Have effective communication skills
- Be able to relate to academic staff and students
- Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Have a flexible approach to work
- Have accuracy and attention to detail
These positions are on a casual, as and when required basis, throughout the academic year with the main exam season in May and June. However, we also have mock exams in November, February and April and invigilators are required for these as well. Hours worked will usually be between 8.30am and 4pm with an 8.30am or 12.15/12.45pm start.
We are looking to fill this position by January 2025, however a later start date could be considered.

Qualifications
- No prior experience required
- Strong communication skills
- Teaching experience is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a proctoring environment
