WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• At least 1 years’ experience in a cleaning type role is preferred (cleaning experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential)
• Will have previous experience working with chemicals and an understanding of the purpose of different types
• Have exceptional communication skills to listen and learn fast.
• Will have a high attention to detail and apply a thorough approach when carrying out tasks.
• Be a proactive team member in a fast paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts

ABOUT THE ROLE

RAC Arena are looking for new team members to join the Kitchen Stewarding team, with opportunities for Stewards and Steward Team Leaders. Working under the guidance of the Stewarding Supervisor, our Kitchen Stewards’ carry out general cleaning duties to ensure the kitchen areas are clean, hygienic, and safe. While assisting the kitchen to deliver culinary demands.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Proactively carry out general cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping up, washing up, emptying of rubbish bins and boxes) in and around the kitchen and back of house areas;
• Operate the pot-washing machinery to maintain a hygienic working environment;
• Ensure the correct PPE is in place and guidelines are adhered to;
• Comply with Food Safety practices.
• Assist with function set ups and pack downs
