Description:

Title: Office Administrator
Location: Fort St. John
Our company is currently seeking a motivated and teachable Part-Time/Casual Office Administrator to join our team to assist on an as needed basis. The successful candidate will have excellent computer skills, be able to work independently, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Office Administrator and to step in full-time to cover sick leave and vacations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Manage office supplies and inventory
  • Schedule and coordinate instructors and courses
  • Perform general clerical duties, including typing, filing, and data entry
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Liaise with clients in person and over the phone
  • Monitor accounts receivable
  • Find timely solutions to customer queries
  • Provide complete admin support of courses
  • Assist with any other duties as directed by the Office Administrator or Management.

Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Be teachable and have a great attitude
  • Excellent grammar and typing skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable dealing with customers over the phone and in person
  • Must possess own transportation
  • Familiarity with the oil and gas industry is an asset
