TRANSDEV IS HIRING CASUAL PARATRANSIT OPERATORS (DRIVERS) FOR OUR REGINA, SK LOCATION.
As a Paratransit Driver, you will provide essential transportation services for individuals with disabilities and mobility challenges, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. We are offering a Competitive Hourly Rate between $17.55- $26.01/hr!
Responsibilities:
- Passenger Assistance: Safely and courteously assist passengers with boarding, securing mobility devices, and disembarking from the vehicle.
- Safe Operation: Operate Paratransit vehicles following all traffic regulations, company safety protocols, and accessible transportation standards.
- Route Adherence: Follow assigned routes and schedules, making stops at designated locations to ensure passengers’ timely arrival at their destinations.
- Safety and Sensitivity: Provide a safe, respectful, and empathetic environment for passengers, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance issues to the maintenance team.
