CASUAL – RESEARCH FELLOW WITHIN HEALTH RESEARCH METHODS UNIT
Rate of Pay: UH7.30 - £19.70 per hour plus 12.07% accrued holiday per total value
Working Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week)
Duration: Maximum 3 months
The Health Research Methods Unit within the School of Life and Medical Sciences aims to improve health and wellbeing through the collaboration of multiple disciplines. The Health Research Methods Unit has made possible the development of influential working groups who have had great success and have produced high-impact research.
The Health Research Methods Unit is looking for a Research Fellow to conduct research into the adoption of Organ on Chip technology or similar.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must have a degree at a minimum of 2:1 (or equivalent level 6 qualification), or Masters qualification in a relevant discipline, but PhD (or equivalent level 8 qualification) or equivalent experience is desirable
- General Administration Skills
- Good Analytical and Technical Skills
- Must Have Experience in Cost-Benefit Analysis
- A Good Working Understanding of MS Office
- Ability to Conduct In-Depth Research
- Data Entry

Responsibilities:
- To search academic and grey literature for both qualitative and quantitative information relating to the research study.
- To write a detailed report on the cost-benefit analysis that covers the qualitative and quantitative losses avoided.
- Attend and contribute to regular project meetings.
