Casual Straight Truck Driver- class 5

at  MDR Deliveries

We are looking for someone who is available on a casual basis , Monday to Friday for out of town and in town deliveries driving our 3 and 5 ton trucks , you only need a class 5 licence. Must have 3 years driving experience in a 3 ton or 5 ton truck for insurance purposes.
This can be a physically demanding job with pushing /pulling heavy skids or materials. This is not a driving position, we help load and unload our deliveries.
This position only requires a class 5 license
Benefits are available after 3 months with minimum 20 hours per week.

Driver must have;

• 3 years straight truck experience
• clean drivers abstract
• pass a criminal record check, once hired paid for by company
• TDG certificate, once hired paid for by company
• Air brakes, once hired paid for by the company

Job details

• Deliver orders to customers
• capable of driving a straight truck 3 ton or 5 ton
• Capable of operating lift gate
• must be neat in appearance
• Willing to work on a casual basis
• Must be able to lift heavy and or move heavy items
