KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Strong Category Management experience.
  • Strong experience in tender processes: RFI, RFP and e-auctions.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent IT skills across Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good negotiation skills, and willing to challenge the status quo.
  • Background within either Customer Operations, Facilities Management, Capex or MRO.
  • Good general knowledge of FMCG drinks supply chains and equipment NPD processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Science or Engineering is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong Procurement Experience, preferably within either Customer Operations, or Supply Chain Indirects
  • CIPS qualification is desirable.
  • Relative Industry Experience in the above will be considered in line with qualifications.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Britvic’s Procurement Team is responsible for sourcing all goods and services the business needs to operate. Our 2025 vision is to unlock our full potential and be recognised for our excellence in Procurement. Our mission is to deliver supply solutions that advance Britvic’s sustainability, competitiveness and growth.
This role within Procurement Supply Chain Team and is responsible for the leading the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for:
Customer Operations - The development, purchase, delivery, maintenance and remanufacture of equipment used to deliver our PepisCo and Britvic drinks brands to customer on-premises including “on-bar” dispense solutions, coolers & chillers, and vending.
Beyond the Bottle (BTB) – Business partnering with emerging technologies and their respective Business Units, including but not limited to display showroom locations in GB and any future development cross border.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Customer Operations and Beyond The Bottle category activities for all BUs as required (although predominately GB & IRE focus).
  • Lead the Britvic relationship with a selection of Customer Operations and Beyond The Bottle partners. Improve supplier performance and drive value over time using SRM tools where appropriate.
  • Develop and deliver a robust Pipeline of Value for your categories of responsibility, including a Sustainability Roadmap.
  • Be the Procurement Team point of contact and subject matter expert for the Customer Operations and Beyond The Bottle categories. Including: Equipment, Technical Services, Service Centre, Technical Development and Innovation.
  • Maximise the spend under contract and conduct commercial negotiations/tenders.
  • Act a point of escalation for resolving supplier performance issues.
  • Manage risk and comply with procurement governance processes, including following the correct delegation of authority and segregation of duties.
  • Be an ambassador for Procurement internally and externally, enable delivery of our 2025 vision and mission.
