Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Looking after Frozen Savoury, Canned Meals & Vegetables and Mexican Food, you’ll work across our Retail Banners – PAK’nSAVE, New World and Four Square. You’ll provide expert knowledge, working intimately with a range of stakeholders, influencing and engaging and driving sales and performance across the Category.
With a true strategic approach, you’ll take on a senior role in the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Determining and achieving strategic goals through effective category planning and forecasting
  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Negotiating pricing and promotional activities
  • Overseeing range management and product maintenance

Key to your success in the role will also include:

  • Solid B2B experience
  • A solid understanding of market trends and influences, both within New Zealand and globally with a drive to continuously stay ahead of the game
  • Very strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent planning and communication skills with the ability to collaborate and clearly articulate ideas/concepts and effectively present to other
