Tasks

  • Help shape savings targets, report regularly on the degree of achievement and take responsibility for this
  • Initiate and ensure that savings initiatives are successful
  • Lead assigned categories (focused but not limited to: Fleet & Logistics, Financial Services, Real Estate) on a global level and define global category strategy incorporating local specifics
  • Ensure alignment of strategies with demand owners and internal stakeholders and implement of corresponding initiatives on a global and local level
  • Responsible for strategic & tactical procurement processes

Requirements

  • Experience in the independent implementation of savings targets and regular reporting on achievement
  • Able and willing to prioritize initiatives
  • Able and willing to think and act globally and economically, beyond the boundaries of own category to represent the interests of the group
  • Experience in (Co-) designing / giving input within category strategy development
  • Able to identify potential synergies / economies of scale across categories
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Broad analytical and conceptual skills
  • Project management
  • Conflict management
  • Proven professional experience
  • Extensive procurement experience
  • University graduate degree in business or technical studies
  • Multilingual (English mandatory)
