Job Description

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in category management;
  • Experience in frozen category management;
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Proficiency in English, additional languages a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape. Utilize market insights to drive category strategy and product assortment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for product procurement, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards are met.
  • Optimize product assortments across various channels and customer segments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement category-specific strategies.
  • Monitor category performance metrics, including sales, margin, and inventory turnover. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. Develop and implement action plans to achieve financial targets.
  • Lead product launches and promotional strategies.
  • Work closely with Stores, Sales, Marketing, Pricing and Supply Chain teams to align category strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards. Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to product quality, supplier relationships, and market dynamics.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to foster professional growth and development within the team.
