For our Munich location, we are looking for a key leader in the Commercial team who will drive the development and execution of OTC Channel Strategies in Shopper/Trade Marketing and Category Management to foster growth for Haleon brands. You will inspire both the business and customers with leading shopper strategies, aiming for sustainable growth and financial goals.
Your role includes setting best practices for other markets and developing your team through coaching and guidance.
Your Role at Haleon :
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work with Sales, Net Revenue Management, Finance, and Marketing to create a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the Pharmacy channel, covering both immediate and long-term plan
- Champion Shopper & Customer Strategies: Represent shopper and customer strategies in planning, driving mutual growth, and ensuring Haleon outperforms the category.
- Inspire with Channel & Category Strategies: Develop and lead projects that drive profitable growth for both Haleon and the category, positioning Haleon as the market leader.
- Lead Annual Planning: Set targets and priorities based on shopper and category management plans, including promotions and assortment strategies.
- Innovate Execution Approaches: Drive innovative strategies, execution, and customer engagement.
- Monitor Competitors & Financial Oversight: Analyze competitor activities and Haleon performance to recommend best practices for accelerating growth, and manage promotional budgets and ROI assessments.
- Develop & Motivate Team: Guide and inspire a team of up to 10 associates, fostering collaboration and enhancing team goals.
What we expect from you:
- Education: University degree in business administration, economics, marketing, or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in FMCG and/or Consumer Healthcare sectors, with proven leadership in Shopper/Trade Marketing.
- Skills: Strong project management, strategic and analytical thinking, ability to build compelling channel plans, team building & leadership, and strong communication skills.
- Relationships: Proven track record of building customer relationships and driving mutual growth, working closely with the Commercial Leadership Team, General Manager, and Sales Leadership Team.
- Agency Management: Experience in managing agencies and driving creativity, collaborating with Agency Partners.
- Channel Know-How: Deep understanding of Pharmacy/OTC channels, working with Category Marketing Director, Brand Teams, and Commercial Excellence Function Leaders.
- Languages: Fluent in English and German.
- Financial & Analytical Insight: Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and Consumer & Business Insights and Analytics teams.
