Job Title: Catering Assistant
Trust Location: Sheffield Children’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Location: Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Clarkson St, Broomhall, Sheffield, S10 2TH
Shift Pattern: Flexible over 7 days with two options for hours:
35hrs/week, 07:00-14:00 and 12:00-19:30 on rota
30hrs/week, shifts between 10:00 and 16:30
Pay: Band 2 - £11.45-£20.95 (shift dependant)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals with:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Level 2 Food Safety certification.
• Knowledge of food hygiene standards.
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our hospital community. Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the catering team to prepare and serve appealing meals.
• Cleaning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery to maintain hygiene standards.
• General cleaning duties to ensure a spotless and safe kitchen environment.
