Description:
Job Title: Catering Assistant
Trust: Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
Location: Ormskirk District General Hospital, Dicconson Way, Wigan Rd, Ormskirk L39 2AZ
Pay rate: £12.08 per hour + Enhanced rated over the weekend.
Rota and Hours: Mondays - Sundays, various shifts between 7.30am and 7pm, on rota basis.
The post will be 7.5 hours a day, 4 days a week including weekends
NHS Professionals require pro-active and hardworking cleaners to work within the Estates & Facilities team at Southport & Formby District General Hospital.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re seeking someone with a passion for food and customer service, along with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate and a strong understanding of temperature monitoring, hygiene standards, and allergen awareness.
- High standards of personal hygiene and attention to detail.
- Proven experience working in a café or restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- A friendly and professional attitude with the ability to fit into a close-knit, experienced team.
- Cash handling and till experience is essential.
