Description:
We are currently recruiting for 2 part time catering assistants for our canteen in Causeway Comprehensice, Causeway, Co. Kerry.This position commences the end of August and operates around the secondary school calendar. Our employees are off at the break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer(unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children.
Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community.
The position of catering assistant is approx 10-15 hours per week on a 2 day / 3 day rotation.
Shift approx 9.00am-2.00pm. Half day Wednesdays.
Ability to start at 8.00am for cover an advantage.
The role involves the preparation of a variety of rolls, wraps, ciabattas, pasta & rice dishes. Service of small break and lunch and clean down.
Strong time management and organisational skills are a must as operating to strict break times.
Previous catering experience and knowledge of HACCP an advantage but not essential
