Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Pindara Private Hospital caters to a wide range of nutritious meals to patients. In our Catering team, you will work alongside a fast-paced team that thrives on delivering exceptional customer service in line with our Ramsay Core Values.

Your excellent work ethic, ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and your excellent time management skills will be key to succeeding in this fast-paced environment.

As a Catering Attendant your duties will include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Maintaining food hygiene, a clean working area and safety practices
  • Deliver Food & beverages to the hospital patients and doctors
  • Washing dishes and cleaning in accordance with the FSP
  • Assists in the monitoring and recording requirements of the FSP, for example, recording temperatures, cleaning schedule completion, receipt of goods.
  • Assisting the broader team as required to plate meals while maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
  • Availability across a 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shift

As a Food Services Steward your duties will include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Assisting with plating up at meal times
  • maintaining cleanliness within the department in line with required food safety and hygiene principals
  • washing all pots, pans & utensils as required
  • full clean down of equipment including dishwasher, ovens. grills and fryers
  • ensuring a clean environment is maintained at all times
  • sanitising of all bench surfaces & equipment
  • moping of kitchen and cold room floors
  • daily completion of cleaning checklist and food safety documentation
  • handling food deliveries and ensuring all sock is stored appropriately
  • removal of wast
