POSITION SUMMARY
The Catering Coordinator is responsible for managing the operations and logistics related to all Market Fresh catering services. This position often requires a mix of customer service, logistical planning, and team management skills. The role of a Catering Coordinator is vital in ensuring that all aspects of catering services are executed efficiently and to the satisfaction of the client, making it a dynamic and demanding position. The Catering Coordinator reports directly to Executive Chef.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- High School Diploma
- Food Handlers Certificate is an asset
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year experience in a Catering role or related field
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to contribute to a team culture in fast paced work environment
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others
- A passion for food and community
- Demonstrated organization skills
- Time Management skills
- High attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Food safety training
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
