Job Introduction

Sodexo delivers a wide range of Catering and Food services to meet the unique and varied needs of the whole force.
Based at AAC Middle Wallop, we are now seeking an organised and conscientious Catering Manager to oversee the operational running of all functions across the site.
This is a large operation that prepares and serves up to 100 covers per sitting per day from a pre-set rolling menu 365 days per year.
With proven experience in catering, hotel or hospitality management and a Level 2 and 3 NVQ qualification in catering, you will put people and customer service at the heart of everything you do.

Leading from the front, you will have direct management responsibility overseeing a small team and will also be expected to undertake:

  • Health and Safety (including risk assessments and allergen checks)
  • Stock Control
  • Audits
  • Staff training

You will have high standards and the proven experience to lead by example with credibility and conducting yourself with integrity at all times in line with the expectation of the Military Personnel based upon site.
Though this role will be prominently Monday to Friday there is an expectation to be flexible to work weekends, early and late shifts as required to meet business needs.
