The Catering Sales and Conference Services Manager on one hand will secure and service ‘Event Sales’ business mainly from the Social and Wedding segments, through active and effective promotion, solicitation and prospecting, while maintaining Four Seasons Standards and maximizing revenue/profit potential.
They will also serve as the client’s sole hotel liason to all hotel divisions to arrange and support social and wedding group bookings, and also corporate meetings and social events. Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.

Responsibilities:

  • actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable weddings and social catering business, as well as corporate events and achieving Quarterly Sales Goals. Maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all inquiries and sales calls
  • conduct property tours and entertain wedding and meeting planners for weddings, social and corporate events
  • coordinate the sales efforts between the sales department and event sales to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues
  • finalise the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication both written and personal contact with all departments for the success of the event
  • work closely with all key hotel operatioal deparments to ensure service execution while events and groups are in house and in turn, ensuring client satisfaction
  • work together with AV companies and outside suppliers and contractors engaged by the client or the hotel to provide services
  • ensure accuracy of Banquet Checks and provide bill review on completion of program or eventsupervise the execution of banquet events, review all function space with banquet manager
