Description:
Four Acres is a Conference Centre located in a private estate just outside Kingston Upon Thames. This tranquil venue is the historic home of Unilever’s Leadership Development and Purpose.
You will be responsible for the supervising the day to day operations within Front of House Catering, providing support and clear instruction to the wider team.
Delivering quality of life services to our clients, visitors and guests, upholding Sodexo guidelines surrounding Food Safety & Health & Safety policies and safeguard compliance and adhering to budgets.
Main Responsibilities:
Supervising the dining room and hospitality
Supervision of FOH team and services
Training of the on-site team.
Managing and co-ordinating Third Party contractors.
Monitoring staff rotas including absences and cover where necessary.
Holding team meetings and engaging with the team ensuring that they Ordering from nominated suppliers.
Maintaining files and undertaking administration tasks.
Promote Health and Safety awareness on site and provide up to date documentation as required.
Liaising with the Site Operations Team.
Cover any absences in all areas of the catering team.
Monitoring standards and conducting audits
Food Safety & Health & Safety due-diligence
Stock rotation & Stock taking exercises
Ensuring wellbeing of the team and maintaining motivation
Inspiring innovation and recognition
Supporting client events in & out of hours
Assist Manager in achieving Service level agreements (SLA)
Meet the demands of customers by providing the appropriate catering services within the agreed SLA and contract agreement
The Ideal Candidate Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience of working in a similar service environment via a multi-skilled workforce to blue chip organisations or within prestige environments with a strong focus on customer service
- High level of personal hygiene
- Relevant training, qualifications and experience to deliver services in line with legislative and statutory requirements
- Good understanding and experience of using hotel principles to successfully deliver services – Ensuring focus to the individual customer requirements and care whilst meeting a 5-star service Levels
- Good numeric and literacy skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work alone and use initiative
- IT Skills
