Description:
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab as well as CT or MRI.
- Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
- Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
- Take an active part to supervise and develop junior colleagues
- To work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC.
- Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme.
- Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers.
- Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and, can report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
- Competency in IV cannulation is essential
- Provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
- Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
- Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
- Participate in Cath lab, X-ray + CT on call rota (within scope of practice).
- Must be able to attend site within one hour of on call activation
